Modding the hinges




The normal hinges from the hard ware shop were modified. We place an additional hole very close to the axis and cut them to length.

LED mounting





The LEDs are mounted on a simple angle bracket with thermal conducting industrial glue.

Sand blasting






Today we had a hard job sand blasting the acrylic. But, hey! The result is wonderful.

PCB Lay Out


Arduino shield for shift register. You can link multiple SHIFT IT OUT SHIELDS together to extend the Arduino output. (download)

The BUZ11 Transistors are for the LEDs and the relay board is needed for the magnets.
